She wants to be independent and she is looking for excitement, so she takes off on an adventure. She decides to travel to the mountains to meet the Dragons. She becomes a housemaid for a dragon and has many exciting adventures. She learns magic, fights off suitors, becomes friends with a witch and tries to thwart the plans of a wizard. This is the first book in a series and a quick read. While this book has been around a while, it continues to make best fantasy book lists across the Internet.
